Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and the developer of Acumo ("we", "us", the "App"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the App you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility & Your Account

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (and at least 13) to use the App. You sign in using your email address and a one-time passcode (OTP) we send to that address; there is no separate password.

You may hold only one account, and you are responsible for keeping access to your email and device secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@acumo.app if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

3. Description of the Service

Acumo is a personal-finance companion that lets you record income and expense transactions, organize them into categories, track assets and due dates, and receive AI-generated budgeting summaries and insights based on the data you enter. Features and availability may change over time.

4. Subscription Terms (Auto-Renewable)

Some features require a paid subscription, including the "ویژه" (Special) 3-month plan. Subscriptions are sold as auto-renewable in-app purchases through the Apple App Store.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Your subscription AUTOMATICALLY RENEWS for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, at any time in the App Store / your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation is NOT done inside this App.
  • When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid period; we do not provide refunds for the unused portion of a period, except where required by law or by Apple's policies.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial (if offered) is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

5. Financial Disclaimer

Acumo is provided for informational and personal-budgeting purposes only. It does NOT provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and nothing in the App should be relied upon as such.

AI-generated insights, summaries, and suggestions may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. You are solely responsible for your own financial decisions and should consult a qualified professional before acting. We are not liable for any decision you make based on the App.

6. AI Feature Disclosure

To generate insights, summaries, category suggestions, and chat responses, the App may send the transaction data and text you provide to third-party artificial-intelligence (AI / large language model) providers that process it on our behalf. By using these features you consent to this processing. See our Privacy Policy for details on what is sent and how it is handled.

7. User Content & Data Ownership

You retain ownership of the financial data and other content you enter ("User Content"). You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit your User Content solely to operate and improve the App for you, including sending it to the AI providers described above. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App: do not attempt to access other users' data, reverse-engineer or disrupt the service, upload unlawful content, use the App for any illegal purpose, or attempt to circumvent subscription or rate-limit controls. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

9. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services to function, including Apple (in-app purchases and account billing), AI / large-language-model providers (insight generation), an email delivery provider (OTP sign-in), and hosting/cloud infrastructure. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms.

10. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, branding, text, and software (excluding your User Content) are owned by the developer and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App.

11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or savings, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Termination & Account Deletion

You may stop using the App and delete your account and associated data at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. On account deletion, your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last updated" date and, where appropriate, in-app notice. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the courts located in Türkiye shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App. Nothing in this section deprives you of any mandatory consumer-protection rights granted by the law of your country of residence.
